Café-Patisserie “Ruta de la Seda” is a great place indeed. With quiet surroundings, the view of a park, fine dishes, gourmet coffee and ice-creams, and the so-called organic desserts. You may enjoy there all together the good things and then some, whether you don’t mind getting a disease such as salmonellosis due to their lack of hygiene.
Those salads are beautiful and dangerous like the black-mamba. The organic desserts are not entirely organic but half or a quarter or not organic at all. Their regular coffee taste awesome given the fine coffee-machine they have, while their organic one is over-toasted and beyond being merely astringent, too bitter and lacking of body for the fine and cultured drinker whether they were looking for a well made caffè espresso.
Regarding the ice-creams, given they are not produced by Ruta de la Seda you may enjoy as many portions as you want, fearing only they might haven’t washed the cup, few seconds under water and there you go, cheap and lovely typhus. Bon appétit.
