I was just finishing a coffee in the Condesa on Monday with some friends, when what should arrive with our bill than a stack of flyers for a lesbian party this Thursday. I have to admit I don’t know a thing about this party except what is advertised on the flyer. Will this party be as thrilling as Clit Club was when I was 17 in New York City? Sadly, I won’t be in town to find out, since we are going to Zacatecas this weekend for a conference on the global food crisis (and a GLBT festival), but I encourage other machas to check it out and give us the scoop! Wonderful to read about how you see Mexico city, when I first arrived there in 1987, I had no idea how to find machas then. I would love to see you there as I saw you, Anna, in New York several years back.
